At the end of June another story broke of a billionaire bequeathing a fortune to the family pets. In this instance, MSNBC has the report of heiress Gail Posner leaving $3 million and continued use of her mansion to her Chihuahua Conchita, only giving $1 million to her son. The son, Brett Carr, claims that his mother’s staff brainwashed her in the last years of her life into leaving her fortune to her pets, and by extension, them. When my husband and I move to a bigger place, one of the first things we know we’ll do is get more pets. We want some more cats and at least one more dog. Muppets Debut at Magic Kingdom Today

They’re characters who feel like an integral part of childhood for generations of kids growing up since the 60s. Some members of their extended family living on Sesame Street still hold a dear place in children’s hearts today, teaching them about reading, counting, and neighborly spirit every day on PBS. Pets on Steroids

Last week, I took my dog Lally to the vet for help with a major allergy attack. She had been itching her face so badly that the hair around her eyes was gone and the skin was raw. Benadryl alone wasn’t doing enough to relieve the itching, so the vet brought out the big guns: steroids. Steroids are very useful for reducing inflammation, and they’ve really helped Lally with her allergy attack. Almost immediately she stopped scratching at her face and ears!
