When I picked up the book, I was amazed at the organization that went into it. Each section has the title of a Primary song, followed by a list of craft supplies you'll need to make the crafts outlined, plus instructions on how to do the crafts. You'll find suggestions for activities that tie into the songs, and at the end of each section, there is a list of scripture references that tie the songs directly into the scriptures. Say you're the chorister in your Primary organization and you're teaching a new song to the children. This third installment correlates to the Primary theme for the new year, and so you will find a section in the book about that song. Right at your fingertips you will find suggestions for how to bring the song to life for the children, a valuable teaching tool. Primary teachers and parents will also find these volumes to be a great resource for the classroom or for Family Home Evening.
I'm not musically inclined at all and I have always hoped that I would never get called upon to teach music at church. But you know, with aids like this, I almost think I might be able to do it.
