Lady Luck’s Map of Vegas sounds like it would be a book about gambling and Vegas, but it’s not. It’s really about mother and daughter relationships, family secrets, and a search for not only a lost daughter but lost selves. The author, Barbara Samuel, is a multiple RITA award winner and has written over twenty-five books including women’s fiction and historical and contemporary romances. Once Upon a Day – Lisa Tucker

The characters in Lisa Tucker’s Once Upon a Day immediately sucked me into their world. This story is told through the point of views of many interesting characters. Stephen was a doctor, and quite happy in his life until his lost his wife and daughter in a car accident. Because he couldn’t save them, he gave up medicine and began driving a cab. Media Week in Review – June 15th – June 21st

Let’s take a look at all the fun we had this week in Media Reviews! We started out with “Relationship Magic,” a self-help book for married couples written in the form of a fairy tale to help husbands and wives more easily recognize patterns they might be perpetrating in their own lives.
