“9 to 5” to Appear on Broadway

I love the movie 9 to 5. I remember going to see it at the theater with my parents when it opened in 1980. We loved it so much that we scooped up the grandmothers and went to see it again. In case you never saw it, 9 to 5 was about three women (Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin) who were struggling with a 9 to 5 job that came with a chauvinist, self-centered boss who intended to keep the in their place. American Idol News: The Final Two and Taylor Hits Broadway

If you watched “American Idol” this week, you know that next week’s season 7 winner will be named David. It just remains to be seen if his last name will be Cook or Archuleta. The two Davids squeezed out the last remaining female contestant, Syesha Mercado, this week. The musical styles of the two Davids are quite different.
